Chief Terrence Green is excited to announce the 2nd annual Lexington Police Department Foundation Golf Tournament which will be held at the Golden Hills Golf & Country Club on Monday, September 16, 2019.
As the golf tournament approaches, four player team entries are being accepted and the Lexington Police Department is seeking out local corporate sponsorships. Monetary donations are welcome and there are also opportunities for businesses to donate items for player gift bags, raffle or silent action items and for door prizes as well.
The cost for team entry is $300 for four players and will include a catered breakfast and lunch, door prizes, hole in one challenge and tournament winners will receive individual trophies and prizes. Mulligan packages will be offered to players on the day of the tournament. A maximum of twenty-five four player teams will be allowed at this event. For more information, to register a team or to discuss a corporate sponsorship, please contact Officer Shawn Ludwig at 803-359-6260 or by email at email@example.com.
Corporate sponsorships are available at five sponsor levels which range from $250 to $2,500 and will include business signs placed on the course and may include a four player team or teams depending on the sponsorship level.
Breakfast and check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the tournament will start at 9:30 a.m.
The purpose of the golf tournament is to continue funding the Lexington Police Department Foundation which is an innovate approach to community resource development and it provides funding for needed equipment, unexpected expenses and to pilot new community based outreach programs while assessing their effectiveness prior to integration into long-term budgets. This also gives contributors the opportunity for tax deductible individualized support to the Lexington Police Department with the ability of selecting specific programs or materials to provide in accordance with an individual’s or corporate giving philosophy.
The Lexington Police Department Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a receipt will be given for all donations made.
